The only place this term is found other than the Midwest is England. It's exactly what it sounds like, though you might know it better as a grilled cheese.
6. "Don't get salty."

"Salty" is a term we use for when someone gets upset or embarrassed by someone. Just get over it.
7. "He's a regular grabowski."

This term is more regional to Chicago and is used to describe a Polish-American, typically blue collar, and is used as a term of endearment.
8. "I'll take a pop."

9. "I'm going to visit the washroom."
