12. Allerton Park (Monticello)
This 1,500 acre park and nature center features European gardens surrounding a Georgian-revival style mansion. The Allerton nature preserve is a National Natural Landmark.
13. Lowden State Park (Oregon)
The Black Hawk Statue rests on a 77 foot bluff. On its own, it stands nearly 50 feet, with its arms folded, overlooking the town.
