Either way, you’ll feel like a king or queen as you look out from your tower or stroll along your reflecting pond after a night of extravagant feasting and relaxation.
This a trip for those who love fantasy and wonder. Keep scrolling for more incredible details.
In the central region of the state, just southwest of Springfield, sits the Castle of Palmyra. The building and grounds are so beautiful, you might spend half your time there taking pictures.
The entire estate spans 40 acres, 9,000 square feet of which are reserved for your living quarters. Visitors are instantly amazed by the vintage-style, stone castle and manicured lawns.
There are only five bedrooms in the whole castle as well as seven bathrooms. It was built in 2004 and is a prime destination for weddings and other romantic events and excursions.
The rooms are all different. The first floor contains the Master Suite which features a mahogany bed, massage chair, and hot tub for two. The Maids Quarter is also on this floor.
The second floor has three rooms: the Princess Room, the King Midas Room, and the Orange Room. Above that is the third floor tower, an octagon-shaped room with 360-degree views and deck access. A spiral staircase leads to the fourth floor lookout 44 feet high.
Once you've finished exploring every inch of the castle, you'll be drawn outside by the beautiful, sprawling grounds where you can enjoy a pond, hiking trails, nature walks, and rock hunts.
