Bethalto Christmas Village in Southern Illinois is a magnificent display of holiday lights like you've never seen before. This walk-through exhibit is located in the town's Central Park and will make you feel like you're in a whole other world.
Hours of operation are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the event is free. There are many festive themed-cottages that draw much attention from locals. These whimsical holiday displays are one-of-a-kind.
In addition to lights, there is also music, live entertainment, refreshments, and craft vendors each night. Search this magical Christmas village for a petting zoo and live nativity too.
