Leone Beach is a Hidden Gem In Chicago

It’s hard to keep a great secret. And it’s especially hard if that secret is in a large city with millions of people. And yet, Leone Beach is a beach that not a lot of people know about. It has managed to stay relatively uncrowded, and it offers a great beach experience. Walking out on the pier is phenomenal – really, have you seen many sunrises like this? The water, as you can see, is incredibly clear. This might be one of the best beaches on which to experience Lake Michigan. Wear shoes if planning to walk a long distance along the beach, simply because the sand can be a little rocky. But it’s a great place to toss a ball or just hang out.
