Go Pumpkin Picking At Jack's Pumpkin Pop Up in Illinois

When we think of pumpkin patches, most of us probably imagine pumpkins dotted throughout rolling farmland in a rural area. Jack’s Pumpkin Pop Up in Illinois, however, sits right in downtown Chicago, boasting the only corn maze in the city. The popular autumn event is already underway, with precautions to protect guests during the pandemic.

Stretched across two glorious acres on Goose Island in Chicago, Jack's Pumpkin Pop Up has returned for another season, offering a fun and a safe time for the whole family.

If you've been to the autumn event in the past, expect things to look a bit different in 2020. Visits, for example, are capped at an hour and a half.

All guests *must* wear a mask, agree to a temperature screening, and adhere to a social distance of at least six feet from others. Due to the pandemic, there will be no food or drink this year either.

However, you're still in for a ton of fun at the two-acre Halloween destination, where everyone in the family can pick the perfect pumpkin.

How long will it take you to escape from the corn maze?

Bring your camera along. You'll find photo ops everywhere, and you'll probably want to capture the glowing pumpkins and other scenery, too.

A couple of things before you make your way to Goose Island. You must purchase your Patch Pass online only.

The fun will go on whether it's sunny, rainy, or even if it snows.
