I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Experience the wonders and joy of the holiday season at Jack Frost’s Pop-Up Winter Walk & Christmas Tree Farm in Chicago. With everything you could ask for to celebrate the season, this larger-than-life event will send your holiday spirits into overdrive! Let’s take a look at one of the most unique holiday events in Illinois.
Established in 2019, Jack Frost's Pop-Up Winter Walk & Christmas Tree Farm has become one of the most anticipated events of the holiday season. It can be found across two acres on Chicago's Goose Island.
With lights, music, plenty of activities, seasonal beverages, and so much more, it's quite possible this will be the most fun you'll have during the holiday season.
Grab your friends or family and spend some time out on the full-sized ice rink. Feel free to bring your own skates, but if you don't have any, you can rent them here.
In addition to skating, Bumper Cars on ice is back by popular demand! If this is something of interest to you, add it to your ticket purchase when you arrive as they can sell out quickly.
Take a stroll through the Christmas trees and find the perfect one to take home and decorate. An assortment of sizes of traditional Canadian Balsam Fir trees will be available for sale.
