You don’t have to plan an expensive trip to Ireland to enjoy all their good luck. There’s an Irish-themed store in Tinley Park, Illinois that is almost as good as a trip to Dublin.
Known for its authentic foods, this store is a marvelous treasure trove of Irish shopping. Check it out:
Winston's Market has been in business since 1996 and is known for its wide variety of Irish goods. From imported items to homemade delights, this place is known for carrying a little bit of everything.
From the moment you walk in, you'll be blown away by the plethora of unique items on display. Switch out your regular grocery list for these one-of-a-kind Irish products.
You'll find homemade sausages, black pudding, white pudding, Irish bacon, as well as corned beef in addition to deli meats and cheeses. This Irish-themed store is also known for its soda bread and many other baked goods.
Of course, Irish beers abound at this store as well. No matter how much you may feel like you're in Ireland, federal law still applies, and you have to be 21 or older to buy.
You could get lost for hours exploring the foreign candies, cookies, chips, crackers, and other imported snacks that are also for sale at this fine shop. Seasonal and holiday selections give you a reason to stop back in often.
Adjacent to this Irish-themed store is its restaurant, called The Ashford House Restaurant, that serves authentic Irish meals. Guests can stop in for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as drinks. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, as well as 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Menu items include steaks, pork and lamb chops, seafood, pasta, chicken, and Irish classics like fish n' chips, corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie, Reuben sandwiches, and much more. You'll also find appetizers, soups, salads, and desserts.
