Funtopia in northern Illinois is an indoor adventure park that features many fun things to do. Whether you like to climb, slide, or crawl, there is something exciting for kids of any age.
Whether you're 1 or 101, this giant jungle gym will get your adrenaline pumping. One of the main attractions is a safe playground for those up to age 8. This obstacle course is a maze of color, ramps, and tunnels.
The main attraction is the ropes course and climbing wall. There are more than 40 different interactive obstacles to enjoy, such as a giant dinosaur skeleton, a magic beanstalk, and a real granite rock climbing wall.
Specific attractions include the Commando Ladder, Spider Web, and Skyscraper Walk that keep kids wanting to return time and again. This magnificent place provides the opportunity for guests to exercise and find fun ways to move around.
Another favorite feature of this giant jungle gym is the cave system. Participants dawn hard hats with lights to explore a hidden world of rocks, tunnels, and other treasures. Kids are encouraged to learn about geology as they explore.

Funtopia is open daily. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is priced by time starting at $9 for half an hour and $24 for two hours.
The child's jungle gym alone is just $10 per child, and guests must pay extra for the giant slide ($3) and free fall ($5). The facility is closed on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
