I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Ready to embark on a hiking adventure over bridges and through several towns, a tunnel, and numerous nature preserves? Fox River Trail is a lengthy multi-use pathway that leads through some of the best scenery in the Prairie State. You can begin your journey at any point along the trail, but the city of Elgin is a good place to start.
Have you hiked, biked, or walked along the Fox River Trail? How far did you go along it? Tell us about it in the comments! For Fox River Trail information, visit AllTrails, and to learn more, head to the webpage.
Another trail worth checking out is the Grand Illinois Trail, the longest bike trail in the state.
