Homesnacks.com combed through the data from the American Community Survey to see what Illinois cities (with populations over 5,000) grew the most from 2010 to 2014. The results were surprising; it’s great to see some of Illinois’ small towns experiencing growth spurts. Read on for the fastest-growing towns in Illinois!

Kicking off the top ten is this outer suburb of Chicago. Minooka grew by nearly 18% from 2010 to 2014, which is impressive! Locals love stopping in at Cookie's Restaurant and Lounge and enjoying the outdoors at Lions Park.

This is the largest city to make the list, growing by over 18% in recent years. Huntley is a golfer's paradise, with two golf courses within city limits, so it's understandable why people want to live there.

Kane County made this list not one, but four times! Hampshire has experienced some impressive growth in recent years, 19% to be exact. All you need to do is drive down Main Street to see why this town is so charming.

Yorkville's population went from 15,065 in 2010 to 17,980 in 2014. Who wouldn't want to live in a town that has one of the best waterparks in the state?
