Open year round from dusk until dawn, Perry Farm Park is a 170-acre oasis of fun and adventure. It is nestled against the Kankakee River near Bourbonnais on the northeast side of the state, about 60 miles south of Chicago.
Known for its beautiful grounds and paved paths, it is situated in a natural setting that is absolutely photo-worthy. There are a number of activities to suit all ages and interests at this fun spot.
You'll definitely want to check out the Perry Farm House, which was built around 1866. Today, it serves as the Visitor's Center and as an administrative building where you can learn all about community events.
For more history, there is also the Thomas Durham Memorial as well as the Burkhalter Memorial Rose Garden, which contains a plethora of different rose bushes and a meditation bench. There is also the Centennial Fruit Tree Orchard that was dedicated in 1997 to honor St. Mary's Hospital. It is full of fruit and nut trees in addition to grapevines.

Home to a living farm, guests will also find farm animals here. Horses, goats, chickens, pigs, and many other friendly critters will make your day memorable.
Perry Farm Park is located at 459 N Kennedy Dr., Bradley, IL 60914, and you can get more information on the Bourbonnais Township Park District’s website or Facebook page.
