This Magical Water Park In Illinois Has The Most Epic Lazy River In The Midwest

When everyone in the family wants to do something different, there’s only one place to go. There’s a fabulous little water park located just outside of Rockford in Cherry Valley, and it has an epic lazy river that will have you floating on Cloud 9.
While there’s plenty of water slides and dump buckets for the more adventurous at heart, this tranquil attraction will become your new favorite summer activity. Check it out:
Magic Waters Waterpark is a truly majestic oasis where summer never ends. Its main operating months are June and July, so there's no better time to plan a marvelous trip to this awesome park.
This attraction is 1,200 feet long and winds all the way around the waterpark. Participants will encounter waterfalls, rock formations, and other scenic views on this unique float trip.
There are also plenty of adrenaline-inducing activities at this park. Enjoy a splash pad, a dump bucket and play zone, a wave pool, and about six water slides that will surely get your heart pounding.
Between trips down the slides or the epic lazy river, guests can enjoy hot food like pizza and hot dogs, as well as shopping at the Mai Tiki Surf Shop for souvenirs, gifts, and necessities.
Guests can also rent cabanas here to secure a more private area for you and your party.
Rates for entry to this waterpark vary. Adult residents pay $15 while nonresidents pay $20. Children age 2 and under are admitted for $5 and infants are admitted for free.
Show up after 3 p.m., and you can get in for just $10. Or, if you come on a Tuesday, you'll only pay $12. Hours of operation are typically daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Check the website for the schedule.
