PaleoFest is a three-day event that takes place each year at the Burpee Museum of Natural History. It involves lectures, workshops, and other activities that are geared towards all ages.
This year's event takes place on March 1-3, 2019, and tickets are separate from admission to the museum. During this weekend, there will be special activities for those who come to enjoy this marvelous place.
Admission costs $12 for adults and $8 for youth while members pay special prices.

Family passes, which do include museum admission, are available for those who wish to participate in lectures and workshops. There are various ticket packages to accommodate your family's needs.
On the first night, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments and hear a presentation by Joshua Mathews. It begins at 6 p.m. and serves as a preview to the weekend ahead.
The following day is chock full of activities. A mix of lectures and workshops take place throughout the day beginning at 11 a.m. The day ends with live music and a cocktail mixer at 4:30 p.m. and then dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner and drinks will be served by Franchesco's Ristorante The evening lecture will take place at 7:30 p.m.
The final day is a bit shorter and features some of the same lectures and workshops as the day before. An Illinois tradition for about 20 years, this event belongs on everyone's bucket list.
