If you haven't heard of the Kane County Country Market, that's probably because it's only been in business since 2016. A market, restaurant, and ice cream parlor all in one, this unique place is absolutely unforgettable.
The gift shop and market contain a wealth of rustic goods and home decor. Clothing, furniture, antiques, soaps, and locally-sourced honey and oils can all be found here.
This place is even home to a plant nursery where guests will find shrubs, bushes, trees, flowers, stones, mulch, and gardening tools. The fresh produce stand almost always has a bushel of something picked from the farm.
The best part of this place is the country diner. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Tuesday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturday between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The menu features biscuits with gravy, breakfast burritos, pancakes, bagels, and donuts for brunch. Hot sandwiches, quesadillas, soups, salads, and appetizers like onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and cheese fries are the top picks for lunch and dinner.
