Chicagoans are nuts about their locally-brewed lagers and IPAs. We don't waste our time on national brands when there's Two Hearted Ale, Old Style Lager, and Chicago Pilsner to be had.
2. Drive the speed llimit.

We're either driving too slow because of traffic or pressing the pedal to the metal between intersections. You never know when you'll even be able to go the speed limit, so you must go as fast as possible once free of obstacles.
3. Stress about getting around.

This is one of the only cities in America where you can easily live without a car. Thanks to public transportation, downtown, the airport, and just about any store or restaurant you want to visit is accessible.
4. Talk bad about Chicago.

The phrase "winter is coming" holds just as much weight in Chicago as it does on Game of Thrones. Cars get plowed in, blizzards strike, and flights are canceled left and right. There's always the chance that it will be a nightmare.
7. Let snow change our plans.

Since we hate winter, one thing we never do here is let it get in our way. It could be below zero and sleeting, but you'll still see shoppers, tourists, and exercise fanatics doing their thing.
8. Smile while on the Kennedy.

It's a gamble each time you get on this highway whether or not you'll get in an accident. Most days, traffic is slow... but there's always that moron who makes things more difficult than they have to be. It's practically a war zone.
9. Say no to pizza.

It is in our blood to have an unending craving for all things meat and cheese, and pizza satisfies that tenfold. We don't care if it's deep-dish, thin crust, or something in between, as long as it's a savory pie.
