I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Few things are as fun as a festival, especially one that celebrates something so incredibly awesome like craft beer. The much-anticipated Chicago Ale Fest in Illinois is headed to the Navy Pier this March and it’s sure to be a blast! So, if you consider yourself a beer connoisseur (or just want to have fun), this is the event for you.
This year's highly anticipated Chicago Ale Fest is headed to the Navy Pier on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. This is the winter edition of the Ale Fest (the summer edition will be held at a later date).
The winter edition of the Ale Fest will feature more than 150 craft beers, many of which are made in Illinois and neighboring states! There will also be plenty of local food trucks as well as a DJ spinning tunes.
Upon arrival, ticket holders will be given 20 drink tickets that can be exchanged for a 3-ounce sample at a vendor. If you run out, additional tickets will be sold at $0.50 each.
While this festival is quite fun, only those who are age 21 and older are allowed inside. If you have kids, leave them at home and enjoy a day out with other adults!
While there may be tickets available for purchase at the door, keep in mind that this is a popular event that is anticipated to sell out. It's best to purchase your tickets online ahead of time to guarantee entry.
