Par-King Skill Golf in northeast Illinois is known as one of the best mini golf courses in the entire country. Its original design makes it incredibly unique and popular with old and young alike.
The original course opened in Morton Grove in 1955 and was known as George's Gorgeous Golfing Garden. Due to its elaborate setup, it was known as the Taj Mahal of mini golf courses by the 1960s.
In 1977, this challenging mini golf course was moved to its current location just a few miles away from the original. This allowed it to double in size to include two 18-hole courses.
What really makes this miniature golf course unique and difficult are the seven water holes and 19 moving obstacles. Whether you're a first-timer or a pro, you'll find a stimulating experience that is absolutely unforgettable.
There are all sorts of unique features that you will encounter when you play the two different courses here. Go down the rabbit hole of old shoe houses, clowns, grandfather clocks, castles, rockets, and so much more.
The park has been recognized by many magazines, newspapers, and other networks over the years. It has received rewards for "most creative," "coolest obstacles," and "most original course in America."
