There’s nothing like a thick, juicy burger, and carnivores will love the massive burgers at Bulldogs Grill. The burgers are handcrafted, and they consistently win awards for Best Burger every year.
Bulldog's Grill is an unassuming little restaurant that's been serving up some of the best burgers in Illinois since 2010. You'll find it in the northeastern part of the state, in the town of Wauconda.
You'll love the bright, cheerful diner atmosphere. Climb up on a bar stool, where you can keep an eye on the cooks back in the kitchen, or grab a table - there are plenty.
The burgers all have crazy names and creative toppings, like the Zombie Apocalypse (bacon, jalapenos, pepperjack, fried egg, boogie BBQ sauce, lettuce and tomato). Other burgers include The Beast, Triple Bypass, Slap Yo' Mamma, and more.
The five "normal" burgers on the menu are almost as big, and they're made with the same fresh-ground meat and quality ingredients as the specialty burgers.
Do you think you have a bigger appetite than most? Ask to take the Bluto Burger Challenge. It includes four half-pound patties with grilled onions, pepperjack cheese, jalapeno cream cheese, onion rings, and 12 slices of bacon.
The burger sits atop a full pound of fries that are smothered in chili and cheese sauce. If you can finish the whole thing in a half hour, you'll get your photo on the wall of fame, along with a free t-shirt.
