Many of us plan for vacations to do all this fun stuff and forget that we have plenty of fun stuff to do right in our own backyard. If you live in Illinois , there are things you absolutely SHOULD do. We are counting down the twenty things that should be on your Illinois bucket list.
1. Shawnee National Forest

Shawnee National Forest has some of the most exquisite rock formations in our state, offers vantage points for two rivers, and gives you plenty of deciduous trees to fawn all over. It might be one of the best things on an Illinois bucket list!
