Along the banks of the Pecatonica River in Winslow sits a laid-back, quirky bar that’s sure to add some fun to your summer weekends. Bobbers Tap is about as unique a venue as they come. This outdoor tiki bar is a hidden gem with live music, plenty of cold drinks to go around, water views, and delicious BBQ from an on-site food stand. It’s a place that everyone should add to their Illinois bucket list.
Open seasonally from May 1 until October 31 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, Bobbers Tap provides a fun, friendly atmosphere that guarantees its guests a good time. It's a popular spot for bikers and bus tours to stop during a road trip because it is such a unique locale.
Kids will love the outdoor space with its quirky charm and random, strange decor that adds to the ambiance of this place. (Yes, Bobbers Tap is family-friendly!)
Enjoy some tasty, smoky, mouthwatering BBQ from the on-site food stand, Three-Headed Monster BBQ, and wash it down with an ice-cold beer, a shot, vodka and lemonade, rum and coke, shandy, hard iced tea, or whatever your favorite beverage of choice happens to be.
While Bobbers Tap can get busy, if you are looking for a private event space for a birthday, graduation party, anniversary, etc., there's a private enclosed deck available for rent.
Come to Bobbers Tap for its easygoing, good-time atmosphere. It's a place where you can bring the family, make some new friends, or just relax with a cold brew and river views. But be warned - bring some cash because no cards or checks are accepted.
