The Gathering is an award-winning antique store on the east side of Illinois that is open daily and known for its charming, old-fashioned items. After you are done browsing around, it is tradition to stop into the cafe next door and try a soup, sandwich, or taste of the shop's famous fudge.

From the moment you walk inside the antique store, you'll be greeted by a friendly staff and a plethora of unique items. There are six vendor rooms to shop, and each offers different products. You'll find soaps, lotions, candles, jewelry, scarves, shoes, gourmet candies, teas, rugs, primitives, spices, furniture, clothing, and so much more.

This popular antique store cafe sees a plethora of amazing evergreen and seasonal items week in and week out, and much of it is made in the USA. Many pieces do not last long, and if you see something pictured, it is likely already gone.

After you've shopped seasonal products and goods, it's time to taste them. Located right next door to The Gathering is The Front Porch Sweet Shop and Cafe.

In addition to hearty meals, the cafe is known for its unique house blend coffees and freshly made fudges that come in a variety of flavors.

The Gathering and Front Porch Sweet Shop and Cafe are open Monday through Wednesday as well as Friday and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday hours are 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Stop in sooner than later to guarantee you get first pick of the treasures.
