Located in the tiny town of Creston, which is just north of I-88, south of Rockford, Roadhouse Antiques is an amazing antique barn that every Illinoisan wants to visit.
You can't miss this unique store as it's one of the only attractions along this stretch of remote road through northern Midwest farm country. Get your camera out and ready for scenic views of waves of corn and endless skies.
This one-of-a-kind barn store is known for its exceptional prices and wide variety of different items. There are about 25 vendors who bring in new treasures on a weekly basis for visitors to shop.
Spanning 6,000 square feet, you could easily spend an entire afternoon at this antique barn. It is open Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
You never know what you'll find at this massive store. Vendors are known to sell everything from fine jewelry and clothing to furniture and home decor. You may also come across hand-crafted goods like soaps and lotions.
Don't forget to stop by during the holidays. Many vendors bring in extra special trinkets around Christmas as well as for the various seasons, giving you a reason to always come back.
