Illinois' Annual Halloween Parade Will Light Up The Streets Of Downtown Springfield

It’s time for the annual Halloween parade in Springfield, Illinois! Dress up as something ghoulish or gorgeous and come out to this wonderful event to support the community and celebrate this exciting holiday. Kids of all ages look forward to seeing the streets glow in downtown every year. Check it out:
The Parent Place's Annual Halloween Parade will take place in our state's capital on Saturday, October 26, 2019 on 5th and 6th streets downtown.
This nighttime event begins at 7:30 p.m. and should last until about 9 p.m. It is the third year for this annual event that includes a myriad of glowing floats with live performances, music, and dancing.
Each display that goes by brings something new and exciting to behold. Characters of all sorts astound and amaze as they make their way down the streets.
There's no better way to celebrate Halloween with the family than this themed parade. It begins on Jefferson Street, runs down 5th, then takes Monroe Street to 6th Street, ending at Washington.
