Bison's Bluff Nature Playground is located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago in a city that has so many things to do, you'll want to move there. This animal-themed playground is all about nature and inspiring youth to enjoy the outdoors.
This custom-designed play place was built from natural materials like logs, boulders, sand, and water. It represents traditional childhood fun such as wandering through fields and following streams.
Everything is made to look natural at this incredible park, which is a refreshing break from the surrounding urban life. If something isn't made from wood or stone, it is made to resemble these aspects of nature.
You'll find interesting critters all around this epic play land. The animal statues and other art are representative of true North American wildlife, though they may not all be to scale. You'll find bison, bees, crickets, and more.
You could easily spend the whole day at this unique animal-themed playground. Guests can even rent the on-site pavilion for private events like birthday parties and graduation celebrations.
Bison's Bluff Nature Playground also includes a nature center, a farm, and three miles of paths for hiking that take you past forestry and water. Don't forget to have your camera ready for all the wonderful views.
Completely open and free to the public, guests will find a lot for easy parking at this wonderful place. Between the months of April and October, the park is open on Monday from noon to 8 p.m. as well as Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
