For me, when I go antiquing, most of the fun is finding that great item, not even necessarily the item itself. I love to find a bargain, and I love to find something under-appreciated that I might be able to restore to its former glory. There are LOADS of places to find antiques in Illinois, but here are ten of the best:
1. Vintage Junkee (Nashville)
Located in Nashville (Illinois!), the people over at Vintage Junkee like to find old things, recycle them, and make them beautiful again. They also are able to re-purpose and re-finish items that you might have.
2. Warehouse Antiques (Newton)
Warehouse Antiques specializes in antique furniture and jewelry, but you truly never know what you'll find here!
3. Prairie Albion Antique Mall (Albion)
