Downtown Boise is full of many hidden gems, particularly Goldy’s Breakfast Bistro. This restaurant may be small, but its meals will certainly leave a big impression. Goldy’s Breakfast Bistro, most commonly known as Goldy’s, first made an appearance in downtown Boise in 1999. This restaurant serves some of the tastiest breakfast dishes in the Boise area and is one of the best places to start your day.
This restaurant is certainly not large. There are only 56 seats in the entire restaurant. And with such delicious food, you can likely expect a wait. But, believe us, the wait will be worth it.

No matter your favorite breakfast dish, you’ll likely find it at this restaurant. The menu is packed with an assortment of pancakes, French Toast, and waffles. Try a tall stack (five pancakes!) of blueberry pancakes, the sourdough French toast, or even the malted waffle — you won’t regret it!
If you love eggs, you’ll have a difficult time choosing between the various options on the menu and if you truly want something unique, try one of the house specialties like Goldy’s veggie platter or the smoked salmon hash.
Goldy’s is open seven days a week and serves breakfast and a few lunch options if you visit during the early afternoon. For lunch, you can choose between a sandwich, burger, fish and chips, and a handful of additional entrees.
