This yearly event, “The Winter Garden aGlow,” is one of the top winter attractions in Idaho. The Idaho Botanical Garden located in Boise, Idaho is simply divine in the spring and summer. Comprised of 15 acres containing hundreds of different types of flowers and plants, the garden is a popular destination when the flowers are in full bloom. However, the garden is equally, if not more, magical during winter!
Beginning on November 23rd, the 21st annual Winter Garden aGlow will be open to the public. The garden will be showing off its 380,000 dazzling lights every night through January 1, 2018.
Thousands upon thousands of lights are artfully displayed, creating an enchanting environment as you stroll through the garden. Remember to bundle up because you're going to want to spend hours in this incredible wonderland.
Winter Garden aGlow is a perfect holiday activity for families. Bring a camera so you don't forget to capture these amazing moments. Santa makes an appearance in the garden on special nights to take note of Christmas wishes.
The Holiday Express is a G-Scale model train that makes its way through the garden. The train, provided by Southern Idaho Garden Railway Society, makes the perfect addition to this delightful holiday display.

This year, Winter Garden aGlow will run from November 28 through January 4. Gates open nightly at 6 p.m. and last admission is at 8:45 p.m. They are open on all holidays no matter rain, shine, or snow. Advance ticket prices are $10 for adults ($12 at gate), $8 for children ($10 at gate), and free for children 4 and under.
