Well, you actually don’t have to travel hours away to your nearest mountain resort in order to have a good time. This winter terrain park is easily accessible and is fun for the whole family. You don’t even have to be a skier or snowboarder to enjoy all that this park has to offer.
Gateway Parks is located at Eagle Island State Park in Eagle, Idaho. They are dedicated to providing an affordable option for those who want to spend the day in the snow but don't have a season pass to a big mountain resort.

This world-class terrain park is easily accessible in the Treasure Valley, making it simple to plan a fun-filled day with the family. The size of the park is stunning. They are one of the largest terrain parks in all of Idaho.
They are home to the valley's largest snow tubing lanes. These lanes are over 1,000 feet long and will have you rocketing down them at crazy speeds. You could easily spend hours racing down the hill and climbing back up to do it all again.
Don't worry, the hill comes with a "magic carpet" (a standing escalator) which brings you back to the top of the hill. This easy activity is fun for the entire family.
Of course, the park is geared towards giving an excellent experience for skiers and snowboarders. The park contains all sorts of ramps and rails that guarantee hours of fun.
If you feel like taking a break, you can warm up by one of their fire pits and roast some s'mores. Food and beverages are available on-site to purchase, as well.
The park is reservation only and is open 9:30 am to 8:30 pm every day. Day passes are only $15, and are $10 for military and seniors.
