Here in Idaho, we have a very unique and set way of life. There’s no other state like us, so obviously there are going to be things that you should know if you’re going to live here. Most Idahoans will be able to identify with at least a few items on this list! See how many apply to you.

Idahoans know that the weather here can change in an instant. The daily weather forecast is more like a "suggestion," if you will.

For some reason, people love to make the same old jokes when they learn that we are from Idaho. We've heard it all so much that the novelty has worn off (if it was even there in the first place).

Shirts, hats, pillows, wall art...even tattoos! Idahoans are proud of their state and love showing that pride off any way they can.

Idahoans are some of the nicest people you'll meet. It's a fact of life. If you have a problem with that, you probably don't belong here (but we'll make you feel welcome, anyway).

If you're not from Idaho, you can't make fun of Idaho. Plain and simple.

This is a common sight that may leave non-Idahoans frustrated...but true Idahoans realize it's just something we have to deal with!

Winter can show itself at any time here in Idaho. We've even had snowfall during the summer before! Snow is never a surprise for us.

There's so much to see and explore here in the Gem State. Staying inside is simply something we aren't capable of. Part of living in such a beautiful state is exploring it!

The only thing we love more than supporting our local farmers is indulging in freshly grown and harvested Idaho produce!

Living in Idaho is such a gift. Idahoans realize that we are truly lucky to live in such a gorgeous state, and we like to keep it that way! True Idahoans know that the only way of exploring nature is leaving it in the same condition that you found it.
