Idaho has its fair share of delicious barbecue joints around the state but Hellfire Barbecue in Idaho Falls takes fall-off-the-bone meat to the next level. This restaurant features a variety of meats that have been smoked for up to 16 hours and foods you will find yourself craving for weeks to come. Don’t believe us? Check it out yourself.
Hellfire Barbecue is one of the newer BBQ joints in Idaho Falls. For several years, you could order the meat out of a tent until they opened a brick-and-mortar store on Holmes Avenue.
When you arrive, there isn’t too much to see. Hellfire Barbecue is located in an unassuming building and is quite simple inside. However, after one bite of your meal, you will care less about the looks of the building and all of your focus will be on your food.
All of the meat is smoked for 16 hours over a wood fire. Because it takes so long for the meat to be prepared, you will want to arrive early to ensure you can enjoy the meat of your choice.
Just be warned … everything at Hellfire Barbecue is extremely good and one visit won’t be enough. You’ll find yourself coming back over and over again to taste something new on the menu.
