That is certainly the case with The Gathering Place, a small Amish Store located in Bonners Ferry in northern Idaho. People from nearby states drive to this unique store for its assortment of homemade goods from the Amish country and other items that you won’t find in your typical grocery store.
The Gathering Place is actually a combination of three separate stores: The Bread Basket, Sharon’s Country Store, and the 3-Mile Produce Stand. These stores are all run by the same owners and located under one roof.
The term, The Gathering Place, refers to a place where you can find a wide assortment of quality goods. It is a place where you can gather with friends and family members and share a donut, cup of coffee, or another delicious treat.
No matter what type of product you are in search of, you'll likely find it at The Gathering Place. At Sharon’s Country Store, you’ll find everything and anything that you need. From bulk items to toys and farm-fresh groceries, this is the place to shop in Idaho.
During your visit, make sure you check out the Amish-made gliders, rockers, and other old-world handmade products. The quality and details are impossible to find anywhere else.
People from all over will drive to The Gathering Place to purchase meat and cheese from Amish country. The selection, quality, and flavors are hard to beat.
You will not be able to leave this store without purchasing one of the many baked goods from The Bread Basket. The list of available baked goods is long and includes all types of items from donuts and bread to sandwiches and soups.

From May to October, you can also purchase an assortment of fresh produce that is currently in season at the 3-Mile Produce Stand. All of the produce comes directly from the growers.
