In fact, there’s a whimsical little tea room right here in Idaho. But careful, you may pass by it without even knowing it’s there. This place is a true hidden gem, and it just goes to show that beautiful, quirky destinations can be found anywhere in our state. You just have to keep an eye out for them.
Touting itself as "Nampa's Best Kept Secret", Cafe de Coco is an adorable hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out. This lovely tea room is impossible not to love.
The cafe has a pretty unassuming storefront, and you may even believe you've walked into the wrong place when you first set foot in the door. In fact, the front of the tea room resembles a small gift shop, chock full of delightful little items and trinkets.
However, just head to the back and you'll come across one of the loveliest lunch spots that Nampa has to offer. The eclectic and kitschy decor might just bring you flashbacks of Grandma's house. Boasting French-inspired art on the walls and a wonderful mish-mash of chairs and table cloths, it's downright adorable.
If you consider yourself a tea aficionado, you'll find that you've come to the right place. You'll find that Cafe de Coco boasts dozens of tea varieties, served by either the cup or pot. It's the perfect spot to spend "tea time" at!
But tea isn't the only thing this cafe offers. They are open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday, as well. If we had to sum up the menu in just a few words, we would say "homemade deliciousness". After all, that's exactly what this is.
The food is utterly unpretentious and perfectly wholesome. They are especially renowned for their homemade quiches, scrumptious sandwiches, and their wide variety of wraps and salads. Oh, and their desserts are off the charts!
Nowadays, trendy new eateries are a dime a dozen. However, it's the little-known, humble eateries like this one that you can't help but appreciate a little bit more. Enjoy a cup of tea in one of Idaho's most pleasant little cafes. Visit Cafe de Coco at 117 13th Ave S, Nampa, ID 83651.
