Tubbs' Berry Farm is located in Twin Falls. They are a small, working family farm that specializes in u-pick berries and beekeeping. They produce all sorts of goodies that are available to purchase at their farm stand. However, when fall arrives they are also known for something else...
...an epic straw maze! This isn't some typical, boring straw maze. The gigantic maze is carefully constructed every year and even comes complete with straw slides, a kid's play area, and more. It can more accurately be described as a giant straw playground.
The maze itself is comprised of over 1,000 bales. That's a whole lot of straw. They say that if you don't make any wrong turns, you can get through the maze in just 20 minutes. However, most people take much longer than that so plan at least an hour to complete it.
One of the farm's biggest hits are the giant straw slides. Every year they seem to get bigger and better. This year, you can expect three large slides and two small ones.
The farm also offers a kid's playground that is geared for children 10 years and younger. It typically includes a kid-size straw maze, rubber ducky raceways, pumpkin bowling, straw slide and tower, grain box (like a sandbox), and so much more.
One of the farm's newest additions is the Sunflower Maze and Pollinator Walk. This is a simple maze that cuts right through a field of gorgeous sunflowers, making for an awesome picture opportunity! Plan to visit the farm early in the season to see the flowers at their best.
Besides the straw maze, you'll find plenty to fill your day on this lovely farm. They also are home to a wonderful little pumpkin patch, hayride tours of the farm, petting zoo, and of course their farm stand which is stocked with raw honey, jams, handmade soaps, lib balm, and much more.
Both the pumpkin patch and straw maze at Tubbs' Berry Farm will open this year on September 21st and run through October 31st. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for kids on weekdays, and $9 for adults and $6 for kids on weekends. You'll find the farm at 1150 S Park Ave W, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
