Small towns and pizza joints seem to be the perfect combination. Some of my favorite pizza joints in Idaho are those found in the small towns that dot the state. In fact, there is a pizza place in Preston, Idaho that you’ll want to check out. Pizza Stop in Preston is home to delicious stone-baked pizzas and breadsticks that will make your mouth water. See for yourself …
Pizza Stop is located at 106 E 2nd S in Preston. This family-owned pizza joint has become a local favorite and a place where you can go in town to enjoy some tasty and perfectly prepared food.
Both the exterior and interior of Pizza Stop do not look like much. It’s a pretty unassuming restaurant, but that doesn’t really matter — the food is delicious.
This pizza joint is known for its stone-baked pizzas. You can choose from a few signature options like barbecue chicken, chicken bacon ranch, and meat lovers, or you can always make your own.
If you choose to make your own pizza, there are a number of toppings available like pepperoni, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, olives, peppers, and so much more.
All of the dough is made from scratch each day, tossed, and then stone baked. You can choose from 8-inch, 10-inch gluten-free, 12-inch, or 16-inch options.
While the pizzas are delicious, they aren't the only menu item worth trying — the breadsticks are incredible as well. The breadsticks are prepared so they feature a crunchy exterior and a soft inside. Dip them in marinara sauce and you have perfection.
Of course, if you just aren’t in the mood for a slice of pizza, you can try one of the salads on the menu. You can choose from options like a large or small side salad, teriyaki chicken, grilled chicken, or Hawaiian-style salad.
