When you’re surrounded by Idaho’s beautiful scenery, there’s not much else you need. Although we love the bells and whistles that comes with staying at a fancy resort, hotel, or B&B, there’s something about the simplicity of Bristol Cabins that we can’t help but adore. Nestled away on a mountainside near Lava Hot Springs, this riverside cabin resort is perfect for those seeking an escape. It helps that the rates don’t cost an arm and a leg, either! Take a look:
Located near beautiful Lava Hot Springs, Bristol Park Historic Cabins is a glamping-style bed and breakfast that offers visitors a tranquil escape. Boasting a handful of cozy riverside cabins, you won't be able to resist spending the night here.
Family-owned and operated for 25 years, Bristol Cabins is located on a property that's rich with the area's history. It once served as a stagecoach stop, mining camp, and even a church camp. Today, it's one of the dreamiest cabin resorts that Idaho has to offer.
The real highlight of this humble resort is the assortment of single-room cabins that were originally built in the early 1900s. They've been carefully maintained in order to retain their historic look, but have been outfitted with modern amenities like electricity and heat.
It's definitely close quarters in these little cabins! Inside you'll find a full-size bed and some unique pieces of decor, but that's about it. They cost $65 per night on weekdays, and $100 per night on weekends (plus tax.)
Alternatively, you can spend your visit in one of the resort's tent cabins. These custom structures give you the comfort of staying in a cabin along with the beauty of natural camping. They cost $50 per night on weekdays and $70 per night on weekends.
Want an even more minimalistic experience? Bristol Cabins also has several camping spaces available. Located right on the mountainside, you'll be closer to nature than ever when spending the night here under the stars. Camping here costs just $10 per night on weekdays and $15 on weekends.
Come for the cozy cabins and stay for the private river access, daily homemade breakfast, and fireside chats with your fellow campers. There's a lot to love about Bristol Cabins so come see what they're all about! More information about them and their accommodations can be found here.
