October is in full swing and we are officially itching for a good scare. Haunted World is considered one of the state’s creepiest Halloween destinations and for very good reason. The Haunted World has been terrorizing Idaho since it first opened back in 2000. It is both an indoor and outdoor haunted attraction that will immerse you in spine-chilling world from start to finish.
The spookrific haunt is currently open every evening through October 31 (they are closed on Sundays.) Visitors from all over the state of Idaho come out to get their pants scared off of them at The Haunted World, and it's definitely worth trying yourself—if you dare.
There are three separate areas of The Haunted World to enjoy, but the highlight of them all is the 35-acre outdoor haunt. In this section of the attraction, visitors will wind through a cornfield, into an underground dungeon, and through a barnyard. Oh, and there's something waiting to jump out at you around each and every corner!
The indoor section of The Haunted World is known as Skullvania. This haunted house only takes about 15 minutes to experience, but it sure does pack a punch. Walk through each of the house's rooms and see for yourself what lingers inside them.
The 15-acre corn maze is the last section of the attraction and is meant to be a break from the chaotic horror of The Haunted World and Skullvania. There are no scares within the corn maze and it makes for a great place to decompress after walking through Idaho's largest outdoor haunt.
