Patriotism can take many forms: service, a love for country, a respective duty to those who have defended and sacrificed for our freedom. Idaho may have been one of the last states to join the US, but it does all of these things and has since its beginnings. Our incredible history and unique economic contributions to this country only add to the the dedicated service of our state. Here are a few reasons why Idaho is the most patriotic state in America.

Pictured is the "Salute" sculpture at Boise State University, which was dedicated on Veteran's Day, 2008. Boise alone is home to a dozen or so veteran memorials, but others can be found in Payette, PIerce, and many other cities across the state.
