However, Blackfoot is known for one attraction in particular: the Idaho Potato Museum. That's right. There's actually a museum dedicated to the history of potatoes here in Idaho! After all, Blackfoot does call themselves "The Potato Capital of the World" and that's hard to disagree with.

Blackfoot makes for a nice little stop on the way to Yellowstone or the nearby Craters of the Moon. The town sits right next to the mighty Snake River and has a backdrop of beautiful mountains on the eastern side of town.
