You will find Boat Box Hot Springs approximately three miles from Stanley, Idaho. The hot springs are located along the Salmon River and next to Idaho State Highway 75, making them easily accessible all year long.

These Idaho hot springs are a little different than others around the state. Here, you will find a small tub that you can climb inside. The tub isn’t large and can only fit two to three adults.
Hot water is fed through a pipe into the tub, allowing you to adjust the temperature of the water.

As with all hot springs, always check the water temperature before hopping in. The hot water at these springs can reach up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit so checking is a priority.
While we always love a winter soak, a visit in the summer is just as magical. You can soak in the hot water and then spend time splashing in the river or even fishing. It’s a fabulous day trip destination in one of the most beautiful areas in Idaho.
