Lucky Peak State Park is located just outside of Boise and is the perfect day trip destination. This state park consists of three separate units and there is something for every member of the family to enjoy. One of the attractions found at this state park is the Lydle Gulch Trail.
This is an easy trail and is perfect for kids and hikers of all experience levels. You will climb less than 300 feet on this trail and the path is wide and easy to follow.
Despite being located in a state park in Idaho, this trail is typically not very crowded and is the perfect location to find some solitude, especially if you're hiking during the middle of the week.
