The Hyde House in Boise certainly fits the bill when it comes to a restaurant that’ll give you an evening to remember. Located inside of a historic home in a vibrant neighborhood district, this restaurant is an absolute gem!
When strolling through the historic Hyde Park neighborhood in Boise, you'll likely walk past and notice an adorable yellow house. It's one of many century-old homes on the block, but this one doubles as a restaurant that serves delicious American fare.
The Hyde House doesn't look like your typical restaurant, and that's because it isn't. First off, it seems like this place does everything. It's a cafe, full-service restaurant, wine bar, and alehouse all-in-one!
Established in 2015, the Hyde House has quickly become a favorite in the community. Run by a mother/daughter team, the restaurant's menu is largely inspired by regional flavors and local ingredients
The specials change often at the Hyde House and it seems like there's always something exciting and new to try. Creating dishes that "are to be savored with sight, smell, and taste", the menu takes many of your favorite comfort dishes - like ribs or baked macaroni and cheese - to the next level.
The restaurant and cafe are open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.) Brunch is especially popular at the Hyde House and it's no wonder why with dishes like Biscuits & Gravy and French Toast Bread Pudding.
If you're not hungry enough for a whole meal, you can always settle for grabbing a pastry or baked good from the cafe - with a cup of local coffee, of course!
