Come summertime, you can typically find us seeking out our favorite huckleberry-picking spots, gathering enough berries to freeze and hold us over for the year. Huckleberry Thicket is a family-owned business that's been providing the community with huckleberry everything for decades. It's the dedicated gift shop for Larchwood Farms, a local farm that creates all sorts of goodies using hand-picked sustainably harvested huckleberries.
The majority of everything you see in this large shop was made right here in Idaho, from ingredients sourced in either Idaho or Montana. Specialty candies, chocolates, jams, syrups - all of these are Idaho-made products.
Whether you're looking for a sweet fix or a unique souvenir for a loved one, Huckleberry Thicket is an excellent place to stop. There's truly no end to the types of delicious confections you'll find here, including Huckleberry Chocolate Fudge Bars, Chocolate Huckleberry Pretzels, and Wild Mountain Huckleberry Gourmet Taffy.
We can't forget about the baked goods! Their home-baked pies are simply to die for, especially the Huck Medley Pie. They also make cookies, cinnamon rolls, huckleberry scones, brownies, bread, cake, and so much more.
During the summertime, nothing beats a couple of scoops of the delicious huckleberry ice cream. Get it in a cone or cup to enjoy right away, or a pint to take home and indulge in later.
