The Old Roberts Hotel, originally known as The Patrie Hotel, was built in 1892 and is one of the most well-known buildings in this small town, and for good reason. Not only is it a historic building and one place where you can spend the night, but it is also allegedly haunted.

This building has quite a bit of history. When it was built in the 1800s, it was a single-story building. In the early 1900s, additions were made to create a unique two-story building, which is what you see today. This hotel was bought by its current owners in the 1990s, who have worked hard to renovate and restore this historic structure.
Today when you visit, you'll notice that this hotel is not large and grand, but it features four bed and breakfast-style rooms that you can stay in … but only if you dare.

Each room is tastefully decorated and features its own set of amenities. Most rooms have queen-size or single-size beds and plenty of space to spread out and relax.

There are reports of spirit children playing hide and seek throughout the hotel, spirits who will hide things, bags that mysteriously become unpacked, and unusual sounds. Some of the most frequently-seen spirits include an Asian man who is believed to have once worked in the hotel, a soldier, a woman in a green dress, and an entire family who are playful, yet extremely mischievous.
