The small town of Teton is located right outside of Rexburg in eastern Idaho. It's in this rural community that you'll find the epic Halloween attraction known as The Haunted Mill. This place is everything that a haunted house should be and more. If you love a good scare then you'll definitely want to plan a visit this month.
The flour mill itself is an amazing piece of history. It was originally built in 1890 and produced "Old Faithful Flour" (later to be called "Rose of Idaho Flour"). The mill was used for a variety of functions over the years but officially ceased operation in 1994.
In 1997 the mill was bought by The Haunted Mill Inc. and began operating as a haunted house during the month of October. When you visit this haunted attraction you are also visiting a fascinating historic landmark. You can even still see some of the mill's original flour equipment and other antique machinery that has been left behind. It's like killing two birds with one stone!
The mill is four stories high and is comprised of winding tunnels, tight crawl spaces, and plenty of other eerie elements. It really does resemble a scene straight out of a horror movie. However, the mill is not where your spooky adventure will end...
Visitors can also explore the mill grounds which includes the original log granary and underground mine. Here you'll find other creepy elements like a wooded area, a maze, waterfall, and a suspension bridge. Meanwhile, the entire area is swarming with monsters and creatures that are sure to give you a fright.
