The restaurant on the shores of Hauser Lake has been through a variety of different owners over the years. In the past, it's been known as the Cliff House Resort, Rainbow Inn, and The Club, just to name a few. Right now, it's known as D-Mac's at the Lake.
If you talk to any of the restaurant's past owners, it's likely they'll tell you the place is haunted. Additionally, rumors of the bar's haunting have repeatedly been featured by news outlets such as the Spokesman-Review.

However, you may come across more than just the locals during your visit. Most people believe the restaurant contains at least two spirits, one of which is a former owner. The other is a beautiful young lady in a white dress who is called Maddie. As the legend goes, Maddie used to work in the building...and she might've been murdered here as well.
It makes sense the restaurant gained such a reputation. After all, it's located in a former residence that was built way back during the late 1800s. The structure later became a lake resort and began to operate as a bar and restaurant around World War II.
Many people have claimed to witness unexplainable sounds and voices while dining at D-Mac's. Others have even seen the spirit known as Maddie. Although their identities are a mystery, we think it's safe to say they just want their presence to be noticed. So sit back and enjoy your food!
