Sitting just outside of Boise is a beautiful community known as Hidden Springs. This area offers a slower pace and a friendly atmosphere and it’s not a far drive from downtown Boise. Tucked away in the heart of this community is the Dry Creek Mercantile. Also known as The Merc, this historic general store has become a place where the community gathers for events and activities as well as food. Several local residents have added even more to this building, creating SpringHouse at the Merc, a tasty eatery in Hidden Springs, Idaho where you can enjoy some of the best lunch and dinner dishes around.
When in Hidden Springs, the Dry Creek Mercantile is one of the must-visit buildings in town. You will find it located at 5892 W Hidden Springs Drive in Boise.
When you step inside, you’ll notice a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Here, you will find SpringHouse at the Merc, which is one great place to pull up a chair and dive into an incredible meal.
… and tasty salads. Several of the salad dressings are made in-house and with multiple salad options on the menu, you’ll easily find something that excites your taste buds.
Plus, almost all items on the menu come with your choice of a side and with items like French fries, tater tots, salads, house-made coleslaw, fruit, chips and salsa, and more, you’ll find the perfect companion to complete your meal.
There are also items on the menu like chicken pot pie, fish and chips, and soup if you want something a little different.
And while the menu and atmosphere are certainly wonderful, it isn’t the only thing that makes this eatery unique. SpringHouse also donates a portion of all its proceeds to the Dry Creek Historical Society.
SpringHouse at the Merc is where you can go for good food, a fun environment, and an awesome community. It is certainly one hidden gem to add to your bucket list.
