Welcome to the cutest little candy shop in the Gem State! Frederickson's Fine Candies has been serving up delicious sweets for a long time, and they show no signs of slowing down.
It all started out in 1936 when Jack Frederickson opened an ice cream store in Twin Falls. Soon after, Jack's father suggested making and selling homemade candy, so he did just that. Although they no longer serve ice cream, today Frederickson's famous candies are as beloved as ever.
Jack made candy and ran the store until the age of 93, and the business has stayed in the family ever since. Currently, the shop is managed by Jack's granddaughter, Angie, with help from other family members who work every day to continue Jack's passion.
Stepping inside the quaint shop, you'll be delighted by the sight of dozens of different candies. All chocolate is handmade daily, right here in the shop, so you can rest assured you're always getting the absolute best.
Although Twin Falls (and Idaho as a whole) has changed a whole lot over the past 80 years, pretty much everything about Frederickson's has stayed the same. They proudly incorporate the same techniques and methods that were originally used by Jack when he first started making candy, and that's a big part of why people love them.
