The Bethine Church River Trail begins at Baggley Park in Boise. It is considered one of the “Ribbon of Jewels,” of the Boise Greenbelt.

This trail is named after Bethine Church, who founded and chaired the Sawtooth Society. She also lobbied for funds to protect the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and made countless other contributions to Boise and the entire Gem State.
This kid-friendly trail follows along the south side of the Boise River and through a 24-acre natural area. While 2.7 miles, the trail is quite easy, well-maintained, and flat, making it ideal for even the smallest of legs to explore.
