Looks can certainly be deceiving. If you find yourself driving through the small town of Weiser, it’s likely you’ll spot the modest restaurant that’s featured here today. Although it may look like, well, a shack, the Cook Shack on 7th is a contender for one of the town’s best little dining spots. Everything they serve is absolutely delicious, but you’d be remiss if you didn’t indulge in a delicious prime rib dinner. It’s their specialty!
The Cook Shack on 7th can be found in the quiet community of Weiser, Idaho. This restaurant is the definition of a hidden gem, as you'd never expect that within these walls is some of the finest eatin' around!
The Cook Shack definitely has a modest vibe but don't let that fool you. This restaurant knows how to serve up some tasty nosh. Their specialty is smoked meats, so be sure to come hungry and ready to devour.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Lunch can be ordered from 11:00 a.m. to close. The lunch menu consists of a variety of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and baskets. If you need something quick and filling, the Cook Shack is your spot.
However, nothing beats the Shack's daily dinner specials if you want a real taste of what this restaurant is capable of. Dinner is served starting at 5:00 p.m. and includes specials like Chicken Fried Steak, Surf and Turf, Sirloin Steak, Ham Steak, and more.
